Pocket Thoughts: News and Editors

Posted by Joseph Sturm on November 21, 2012 at 1:00 PM Comments comments (0)

Pocket Thoughts has been receiving tons of submissions, so don’t forget to submit and become part of the first issue!  Some of you may be confused about what Pocket Thoughts is and what its aim is as well. Pocket Thoughts is a magazine (e-zine if you prefer) that publishes the best work only.  There will never be multiple works from one author in a single issue, because we believe that everyone has something to say. This means that best works from the best authors are chosen to represent the excellence that Pocket Thoughts believes is out there.

We also need to clear up another issue.  For authors who have been accepted for publication of a particular issue of Pocket Thoughts, there is absolutely no charge. There never will be a charge for authors who are accepted into a particular issue, nor will a charge be applied to anyone who works on a particular issue. For everyone else, there is indeed a $1 fee to download an issue. We have kept the cost low so that everyone will have the chance to enjoy the best work from new and established authors. It must also be understood that the $1 fee will be used for marketing purposes only.

Over time, each issue will improve in quality of submissions and overall look of the magazine itself. We hope to acquire more editors, illustrators, and marketing agents in the future, but, as we have said, this will take time. For now, we are opening our doors to editors. If you are interested in joining the Pocket Thoughts team of editors, please send an email to :

It is with great pride that Mattiello's Creations takes its first step into the world that is digital.  It is you, MC's awesome customer, that will help to create a wonderful legacy. There will be constant updates and improvements, so fave this site.  It will be worth your time and effort.  Afterall, this is primarily an entertainment company.  There is absolutely no reason for you to leave without enjoying what we have to offer.  MC also thanks Dirt Lane Entertainment for its help and comittment to the development of MC.  That kick in the butt was like the last push of pregnancy, and MC has been physically born into the world.

Thank you,

JLMS
